The New Dog at my parents house sleeps in strange positions, and never moves; the perfect model. I've been drawing her during her early-afternoon nap, and this is the first moderately successful drawing. The random dots on the drawing are from the previous drawing's bleed-through, but they make her look like a constellation.
These paintings are more yellow than my other paintings. They were prompted by the aftermath of a wild thunderstorm in Philly. They're not quite done, especially the one on the far right, but they're on their way.
In other news, now that I've moved home, I have a new studio space!
It's in the corner of my mom's big studio. She's nice!
